Derby City USA is a design that reflects the excitement of Louisville in the days leading up to the famous horserace on the first Saturday in May. It includes the split second moment of suspension – when all four feet of a thousand-pound thoroughbred are off the ground and the majestic beauty of Churchill Downs’ Twin Spires – on a perfect Derby Day.
Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cider, hot toddy and other warm beverage are plentiful in the 14 oz mug.
The simple cylindrical mug design is crafted on a jigger with the handle molded separately and lovingly applied by hand for a seamless appearance and lasting durability. So although you may need to blow on your beverage to cool it down, the handle is always easy on the fingers.
A beautiful glaze that matches the pattern you select adorns the handle for a special handcrafted touch.
