My Old Kentucky Home State Park is a state park located in Bardstown, Kentucky just 45 miles from the Louisville Stoneware Art Factory. The park's centerpiece is Federal Hill (Federal Hill Mansion), a former plantation built by United States Senator John Rowan in 1795. Federal Hill Mansion was the inspiration for Stephen Foster’s ballad “My Old Kentucky Home, Good Night,” and this birdhouse.
Sturdy, artfully coiled copper makes for quick and easy hanging and a beautiful patina over time.
Part of The Jon Carloftis Collection.
