Originally called Cornflower, what’s now known as one of the most popular patterns –Bachelor Button – was created during John B. Taylor’s tenure at Stoneware, by artist Edith Ellis. This hand-painted pattern is evocative of a glorious summer meadow, with its bright blue blossoms and long green stems, Bachelor Button is abloom with beautiful possibilities for the table and home.

According to our history, Mamie Eisenhower had this pattern as her every day dishes in the White House.
